To see the undress, you were instructed to send an SMS within 21 hours. After 21 hours the commercial revealed the beauty as stated below. So basically you were obliged to think 21 hours of this woman. How long would you be on top of mind?

Monopoly city streets
11 09 2009Nice Game for a digital freak who has bits and bytes in his vains….
Google started a nice campaign (by Tribal DDB London) to enjoy the old fashioned Monopoly in a new way with Google Earth: Monopoly City Streets. The campaign durates 4 months. You receive 3 mio dollar as a startup budget, and the winner will be invited for the Monopoly World Series. Nuff said and play!

ANWB verkeer iphone app
10 09 2009We hebben bij de ANWB sinds vandaag de nieuwe iPhone applicatie goedgekeurd gekregen door Apple. Naast direct de file informatie op je dagelijkse route af te kunnen lezen, de actuele webcams, flitspalen en wegwerkzaamheden.

Belangrijkste voor onze leden is het kunnen melden dat je met pech staat. We zijn nog bezig om de locatie nauwkeuriger te laten bepalen. Voor onze wegenwachters is het belangrijk om te weten langs welke kant van de weg je staat. De informatie die mee verzonden wordt (denk aan wat voor type pech je hebt, maar vooral je locatie) gebruiken we om onze service te optimaliseren. In een update later proberen we ook de meest voorkomende pechopties (verkeerde benzine, lekke band, lege accu) als bv het type auto (merk, model) te laten selecteren, zodat onze Wegenwachter direct weet wat er aan de hand is. Hieronder een aantal screenshots. Vergeet niet: hij is gratis te downen. Veel plezier ermee.

how to promote your iPhone app

to get on the list of best iphone apps, or top 10, most needed, most wanted, most usefull, iphone apps you can’t live without, or whatever. I would like you to inform about the best ways to promote your application.
- Offcourse, be presented in the App store (make sure you know all the regulations)
- earmark the name of your app with keywords where people will search on, add description and a copy of the screen shots.
- Submit your app to the review sites

- Promote your app within other apps (but make it relevant; based on age, gender, geography, categorie)
- share with socialize content tools like Digg, Share this, Delicious
- Pricing strategy (start with a €4,99 and have a promotion for €0,99) This helps to get attention on some lists
- Give a slideshare presentation, a Youtube movie and a podcast presenting and explaining the use of your iPhone app.
- The customer journey is a “through the line” one. Which means that you need to use all of your advertising possibilities both online and offline. Use a newsletter, an emailing, mention the app in the regular advertising in newspapers ecc.
- Use a Tell-a-friend function within the app
- Use a “Tweet this” function within the app (eg. to share your highscore results or to share your location
- Summary of 9 and 10 is to make it shareable. People want to share this with others.
- Update your app once in a while to get under some renewed attention
- Create a trial and payd version of your app to enthousiast people
Some creative tips from a brainstorm we’ve just had to promote your app: Host a app launch party, promote it in custom wrapping paper, update your linkedin status with iphone app, add the iphone app in your email signature.
